Dr Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, Minister of Family and Social Policies, who came to Manisa together with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who made a series of openings in Manisa, visited the “Mentally Handicapped Protected Workplace Life Center”, which was established in Manisa Industrial Park. Minister Kaya met with mentally handicapped individuals employed in the industrial park within the scope of the project, chatted with each of them one by one, and experienced emotional moments.
In the Mentally Handicapped Protected Workplace Z.E.K.I, which started operating in February 2017 in the Manisa Industrial Park; Minister of Family and Social Policies Dr Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya came together with 34 mentally handicapped individuals working within the scope of Teleset, Standart Profil, Vestel and Bosch Termoteknik, who are in MIP and leading this project. From Manisa IP Regional Manager Funda Karaboran Minister Kaya, who received information; she stated that they always stand behind such quality projects developed to bring disabled people to life, and congratulated all those who contributed, especially Sait Türek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Manisa IP. While the Minister Kaya was accompanied by Manisa Deputy Selçuk Özdağ, besides Türek, MIP Deputy Chairman of the Board Mustafa Sarıgözoğlu, Sarıgözoğlu Deputy Chairman of the Board Levent Sarıgözoğlu, Manisa Industrial Park Presidential Advisor Nihat Akyol, Regional Manager Funda Karaboran Manisa Family and Social Policies Provincial Director Murat Konan and Protected Workplaces company representatives were present.
THE PRESIDENT SENT A GIFT
Minister Kaya, who visited mentally handicapped individuals who were employed with the Z.E.K.İ Project, had a surprise. Gift packages brought in the name of President Erdoğan, who participated in the program held in a factory within the scope of MIP, created squares worth seeing in the living center.

After the visit, Minister Kaya, who went to the office to leave the Z.E.K.İ Life Center, did not offend the young people who wanted to sing, listened to them and congratulated them.
THE PROJECT WAS ‘CROWN’ IN BARCELONA
Z.E.K.I, which was implemented within the Manisa Industrial Park stood out from among 3,900 projects last October and was deemed worthy of the 14th Stevie International Business Awards held in Barcelona, and brought Manisa a silver award in the category of ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Europe’.
