Sarıgözoğlu Apprenticeship Center gave their report cards to the students who entered the semester break with a ceremony held at the MIP Conference Hall.
110 apprentice students studying in mold and metal departments at Sarıgözoğlu Inc., which has a total of 4 factories, 2 in Manisa and one in Aksaray and one in Bursa, entered their first half vacation. With the ceremony held in the Manisa IP conference hall, 20 students who were among the top ten in the mold and metal department were given report cards.
In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sarıgözoğlu Hydraulic Machinery and Mold Ind. and Trade Inc. Levent Sarıgözoğlu said; “With this work we started in 2013, we train more than 100 apprentices who are ready to work every year and bring them to our factories,”

Celebrating its 59th year this year, Sarıgözoğlu is particularly famous for automobile companies Mercedes, Audi, BMC, Ford, Jaguar, Opel, Volvo, Daimler, Volkswagen. It manufactures molds for brands such as Schuler, Peugeot and Bentley. Stating that only the Aksaray factory works for Mercedes’ trucks, Sarıgözoğlu Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Levent Sarıgözoğlu said, “As Sarıgözoğlu, we produce molds for famous companies located all over the world and in 4 continents. It is difficult to train technical staff in our profession. Using the opportunities provided by the Ministry of National Education, we became the first company to establish a training center within the factory in Manisa. Today, at least 7-8 factories in Manisa Industrial Park have established training centers like us. With this work that we started in 2013, we train more than 100 apprentices whose jobs are ready every year and bring them to our factories. We employ our students, who receive practical training 5 days a week and theoretical training one day, in these works carried out jointly with the apprenticeship training center under the coordination of the National Education and Employment Agency. Today, we are trying to create competition among our 110 students by rewarding those who deserve appreciation and thanks in order to raise awareness among them. These training centers, which we opened in our company with the slogan “Vocational High School, A Matter of the Nation” initiated by the late Mustafa Koç, make a significant contribution to education.”
“Students should devote themselves to teaching”
Manisa Provincial Director of National Education Recep Associationbaş said, “We can make an important progress in terms of providing a profession in order to respond to the need for technical personnel in the industry by increasing these trainings in every institution.”

The Sarıgözoğlu brothers, Mustafa and Levent, grew up with their father, the founder of the company, Uncle İsmail. They made the company a world brand. The students who receive the achievement award here today will establish such institutions in the future. However, my suggestion is that they should devote themselves to this training, it is an important opportunity to work. Here they both receive education and earn money, this is a very important advantage, I would recommend them to read the novel “White Lilies” in order to be successful.
