Manisa Industrial Park, one of the first industrial parks in Turkey, has become a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative.

Manisa IP has committed to abide by the 10 principles determined under the umbrella of the United Nations under the headings of human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption.

Stating that they have accelerated their sustainability efforts with sustainable development awareness and environmental awareness, Manisa IP Chairman of the Board Sait TÜREK stated that the United Nations Global Compact is an important step they have taken to provide a better world for future generations.

President TÜREK said, “We continue our efforts to leave a better world to future generations with our Sustainability Board that we have established. In addition to serving in the industry, production and employment trio for years, it is based on protecting people, our society and nature with the awareness of our social responsibility; With this perspective, we promise to comply with the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact.”
