MANİSA Industrial Park signed a protocol with TAIDER Family Business Association in order to contribute to the institutionalization of family companies within its body.
Manisa Industrial Park, which is among the largest industrial parks of Turkey, continues to sign exemplary collaborations with its projects focused on ensuring the sustainability of the industry, as well as its efforts to create a competitive production environment for its industrialists.
Within the scope of studies to increase the competitiveness of companies operating in Manisa IP in national and international markets and to identify areas where companies need improvement, the dynamic relationship between family, partnership and business in family companies, which are common in Manisa IP as well as in Turkey, is correctly defined. Institutionalization of family businesses is of great importance in ensuring the continuity of success, supporting profitable sustainable growth and thus contributing to the development of the country.
In this context, the signing ceremony of the Manisa IP and TAIDER cooperation protocol in order to contribute to the institutionalization of the owners and new generation members of the family companies located in Manisa IP, was held on Friday, 22 September 2017, with the signatures of Manisa IP Deputy Chairman of the Board Mustafa SARIGÖZOĞLU and TAİDER Chairman of the Board Aydın ÖĞÜCÜ.
Mustafa SARIGÖZOĞLU, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Manisa IP, who spoke at the ceremony, said, “We, as the Manisa Industrial Park Management, are constantly working to increase the competitiveness of the industrialists of our region. In addition to providing cost-effective infrastructure to our industrialists, we also identify areas that need development and carry out project studies on these issues. Within the scope of these studies, we have seen that family companies are quite common in our Park as well as in our country, and we are aware of how important it is to ensure the institutionalization of family companies in terms of their sustainability. We cooperated between our Park and TAIDER Family Business Association, the first and only representative of this subject in our country, in order to enable our family companies to learn the clues necessary for our industrialists to find answers to their problems and needs and to establish sustainable, profitable and permanent systems with the past experiences of family companies in the world. With this cooperation, it is to organize various organizations such as trainings, seminars and similar ones that our industrialists with family companies and partnerships need on their way to institutionalization. I fully believe that our cooperation with TAIDER will create great added value for our industrialists in this sense.” said.
Aydın ÖĞÜCÜ, Head of TAIDER Family Businesses, also expressed his views on the subject in his speech, “Developing world economies have become more needy than ever before for family businesses, which are the driving force of the business world.
